- WHAT SETS US APART -
"Quality, Durability, & Customized with a Handmade Touch"
BUILD CONSTRUCTION
All Carolina Custom Solutions products are custom, made-to-order products and to your exact specification. Everything we create is handmade, built and finished in our Hilton Head woodworking shop.
Height, width, depth, and finish are all fully customizable.
BUILD MATERIALS
All cabinetry and furniture built by CCS is made of solid wood construction, not pressboard, providing a durability that you simply don't find in modular, pre-fab, or semi-custom cabinetry from major manufacturers.
The materials used in each custom build are meticulously hand-selected to ensure quality, and each piece is constructed by a master woodworker and crew with a combined total of over 40 years of experience.
The result is a solid, long-lasting furniture piece that is built to stand the test of time.
Our base level materials include:
Maple
Pine
Poplar
In addition, we also offer several other material options, including:
Alder
Hickory
Walnut
Cherry
Oak
Birch
& more!
Reclaimed materials are also available at your request!
FINISH OPTIONS
All painted furniture pieces are painted with
Sherwin Williams® ProClassic Waterborne Interior Acrylic Enamel paint.
Finish colors include any color from the
Sherwin Williams® catalog.
All stained cabinets are stained with
Minwax® Wood Finish™ stain.
Stain colors include any color in
Minwax® Wood Finish™ catalog.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE
Please remember that all natural materials come with their own individual, inherent characteristics. These characteristics should not be taken as defects in finish, but rather unique distinctions of the materials used during construction. Carolina Custom Solutions cannot control natural textures and grain patterns as they differ from material to material, and should be accepted as an endearing quality of the natural materials used in the fabrication process, as opposed to imperfections in craftsmanship.
Additionally, please keep in mind that natural wood materials do expand and contract given their environment. This is especially important to remember in the Lowcountry, where we deal with a tremendous amount of humidity and fluctuation in weather patterns. Because of this, modest joint separation may occur in some door and drawer profiles, as well as standard box and frame construction. These slight separations may appear as small cracks in the final finish of the product, particularly in painted finishes. Minimal color shifting may also occur due to light exposure, material density, and other environmental factors beyond our control.
All of the above are simply mentioned as Carolina Custom Solutions is not to be held responsible for any natural occurrences within these fluctuations above. By purchasing any natural wood products from us, you agree to not hold Carolina Custom Solutions responsible in the event that these characteristics are later found to be less desirable than expected. That said, customer satisfaction is of our upmost priority and we are happy to discuss any questions or concerns you may have at any point in time.
